A Little Behind the Scenes at Britney's Boujee Decor
Have you ever seen a wreath and thought, "Oh my goodness, I LOVE that!" and then looked at the price and wondered why handmade wreaths can cost so much?
I completely understand! So, I thought I'd give you a little peek behind the scenes at Britney's Boujee Decor and explain what really goes into creating one of my pieces.
Because these aren't your ordinary store-bought wreaths!
It's More Than Just Ribbon and Decorations
When I start designing a wreath, I'm not simply attaching a few decorations to a base and calling it finished.
I'm choosing colors, coordinating ribbons, finding unique attachments, layering greenery and florals, and figuring out how to bring an entire design together.
Some of my pieces feature large character attachments, specialty ribbons, glittered sprays, ornaments, and details that you won't find on an ordinary wreath.
And sometimes? I change my mind halfway through and start rearranging everything until it looks exactly how I envisioned it.
If I'm going to put my name on something, I want it to be something I'm proud of.
Quality Materials Make a Difference
One thing people don't always realize is how expensive quality wreath-making supplies can be.
Specialty character attachments alone can cost hundreds of dollars. Then there's the ribbon, mesh, florals, decorative picks, greenery, wreath bases, and all the little details that bring everything together.
I don't choose materials based on what's cheapest. I choose them based on what will bring my vision to life and create a finished piece that I'm genuinely proud to send to someone's home.
I want my wreaths to look just as beautiful in person as they do in pictures. From the fullness of the design to the smallest decorative details, I put thought into how everything comes together.
Because when you open that box, I don't want you to just like your wreath.
I want you to say, "WOW!"
Bigger, Fuller, and Designed to Stand Out
If you've looked around my shop, you've probably noticed that I love BIG wreaths!
Some of my designs measure over three feet tall and are packed with layers of color, texture, and personality.
I love pieces that make a statement. The kind that makes someone stop and look twice when they walk up to your front door.

Every Piece Takes Time
Designing a wreath isn't always a quick afternoon project.
There's time spent finding materials, planning the design, building the wreath, arranging everything, making bows, and checking the finished piece from every angle.
And sometimes, the creative process starts long before I ever pick up a glue gun!
From searching for the perfect attachments to gathering ribbons, florals, and all those little extras, there's a lot that happens behind the scenes before a design ever comes together.

And then there's photographing, packaging, and preparing it for its trip to its new home.
I put a lot of thought and care into every piece I create, even the smaller, more affordable designs.

I love experimenting with different colors, characters, themes, and unexpected details.

Not everyone wants or needs a huge statement wreath, and I understand that!
